Occasionally I enjoy listening to Conscious Afro Fusion (New Niche Pop) music because of its unique vibes. Songs from this Niche Genre usually seem to address Social issues past or present in a cause to fight for what’s right, which I think is dope. REMA is an all-around young Superstar dealing with what well Famous Musicians his age deal with and that’s “INSTABILITY”. Many times we tend to charge people in the spotlight with the crime of “you’re doing far better than me therefore you should have peace.” Peace of Mind by REMA would argue differently. The artist is looking for peace on this one, he goes on to suggest only ever finding it in marijuana which has been known to suppress anxieties. It’s been a crazy year since the artist took an opportunity to address political injustice in Nigeria. As we all know SARs has become a dark cloud hovering on in the country but it certainly won’t stop the great music that’s brewing in the afrobeat industry. The artist couldn’t find his answers in Sex either but rather Rema feels this song should be relatable and is hoping that you guys share his pain too.
